About Rachel
Rachel is a private chef and culinary entrepreneur who founded Rachel’s Table in 2021. What began as sharing of restaurant-type food made in the comfort of her home eventually earned Rachel a role as a personal chef for one of the Ambassadors where she learnt and prepared authentic Asian cuisine daily. Coupled with a late development of allergies and the desire to still maintain a healthy lifestyle, Rachel’s work evolved into a business, and inspired the question #WhatsOnRachelsTable? from the community that developed curiosity as to what they’d get to see her prepare next.
Through Rachel’s Table, she shares a playful edge at her passion for food and people through her step-by-step interactive cooking lessons. Rachel hosted a Television show entitled “My Botswana Plate” on DSTV which was the first of its kind in the country’s history and aired across Pan Africa. There she showcased demonstrated a personal twist to local Setswana cuisine in an effort to open up Botswana’s precious culture and heritage as more than just her beef and diamonds. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, is currently enrolled in an MBA program and aspires towards training in Gastrodiplomacy.
